Due to the persistence of the pandemic, the Board of the New Leader Scholarship has regretfully decided to declare a moratorium on new scholarship applications for 2022. Current scholars may reapply for continuing scholarships. We will revisit our moratorium as circumstances change.

Scholarship Opportunities

The New Leader Scholarship of Marin Community Foundation annually awards scholarships of up to $10,000 which may be renewed. Awardees many receive additional support for graduate school application costs and graduate school tuition. Applicants NEED NOT be Marin County residents to qualify. New Leader Scholarship consists of support for undergraduate students attending one of the five Bay Area public universities. In addition, we provide support for New Leader Scholars have received award undergraduate and attend graduate school at public university in California. All Scholars apply for graduate school preparation support (regardless of graduate school location) and assistance with their personal health related services.

New Guidelines and Applications are updated in mid-January for upcoming academic year. Deadline for submission is March 10th.
